Lawrence Township Park boasts an impressive array of amenities, including soccer fields, a walking path, and a playground. In 2024, the park unveiled an updated pavilion equipped with a kitchenette and restrooms, alongside two dedicated pickleball courts and a basketball court.
Park Pavilion Rental
The Lawrence Township Park pavilion has recently been updated with restrooms and a kitchenette that can be rented for graduations, birthday parties, reunions, etc. The cost to rent the pavilion is $100.00. The cost to rent the Kitchenette is $100.00. The pavilion can be reserved by calling the Lawrence Township Administration Office at 330-854-3830. The pavilion rental is for residents of the Tuslaw and Northwest School Districts only. Organizations that help to support the community are also welcome.

Lawrence Township Rules and Regulations
HOURS OF OPERATION:
The park is open from dawn to dusk 365 days a year.
CLIMBING TREES & DIGGING SOD/GRASS:
No person shall injure, deface, disturb, remove, or climb on any portion of the property of the park, including, but not limited to, any tree, flower, rock or other natural feature, building, sign, or equipment. (The playground equipment may be climbed on.)
No person shall dig upon the sod or otherwise injure the grass in the park.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, DRUGS & USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS:
No person shall bring into, possess, carry, serve, or drink any alcoholic beverages on park grounds.
Tobacco products and drugs are prohibited on park grounds.
KINDLING OF FIRE:
No person shall kindle or authorize to kindle a fire in any area of the park. Portable grills may be approved with written permission from the Lawrence Township Board of Trustees. The Lawrence Township Fire Prevention Office shall be notified of any portable grills in the park.
No person shall leave any authorized fire unattended or empty the contents of any grill or device onto the ground before the fire has been extinguished.
FIREARMS:
No person shall carry or use firearms or explosives of any kind including but not limited to air rifles, slingshots, missile throwing devices, fireworks, explosive devices, or any concealed weapon of any kind within any area of the park that would be in violation of any local, state or federal laws.
HUNTING:
No person shall hunt, pursue, or trap birds, wildlife, or any other type of animal in the park.
DISPOSITION OF REFUSE OR LITTER:
No person shall dump rubbish, garbage, litter, refuse or debris of any kind within any area of the park except in such designated places within receptacles which are provided.
No glass bottles are permitted on the park grounds.
MOTOR VEHICLES, MOTORCYCLES, SNOWMOBILES, BICYCLES & SKATEBOARDS:
Motor vehicles, motorcycles, snowmobiles, bicycles, and skateboards are not permitted within any area of the park.
No person shall operate a traction engine, steam roller, or commercial vehicle upon the trail or parking lots of the park except for those used by Lawrence Township.
No person shall repair, wash, polish or clean any motor vehicle or motorcycle in any area of the park.
HORSES:
No person shall lead, ride, or drive any horse upon any area of the park.
GOLF:
No person shall practice the game of golf on park grounds.
SIGNS – POSTERS:
No person shall erect any placard, sign, notice or billboard within the park without written permission from the Lawrence Township Board of Trustees.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT:
No person shall either by word or act, indulge in any noisy, boisterous, disorderly, or indecent conduct; or in any manner disturb the peace or good order within the park; nor shall any person play games of chance, drink alcoholic beverages, be intoxicated or do any indecent, lascivious, lewd or improper act therein.
No person shall enter a restroom facility and deface it in any way.
PETS:
Pets are permitted in the park and shall be controlled by a leash always connected with a person or fixed object. Do not leave pets unattended. Clean up after your pet if it defecates and dispose of the feces in the provided receptacle.
USE OF PARK FACILITIES:
The park pavilion is available for public use on a first come first service basis. A reservation is required to secure the pavilion for a private party. Reservations can be made by contacting the township office at (330) 854-3830.
Any reservation made must disclose the number of people expected to be at the event.
No person shall deface or vandalize any tables, benches, restrooms, playground equipment or any other area of the park.
Enter at your own risk. Lawrence Township or its employees assume no responsibility for any injuries or accidents.
Be alert! Flying objects are not uncommon, ie. balls, frisbees, etc.
Lawrence Township reserves the right to revoke the use of the park for individuals who do not obey the rules and regulations.
