Lawrence Township Fire Department

The Lawrence Township Fire Department is currently working together with the Canal Fulton Fire department in a joint operation agreement.  The departments respond to on average 1,300 calls annually including the township and the city.  These calls consist of both EMS and fire responses.  The department is comprised of approximately 45 members.  All members are state of Ohio certified level 2 Firefighters and are also trained in emergency medical services as either an EMT or paramedic.  The station is staffed with 4 personnel 24/7.  We also have a large amount of members that live within close proximity to the station that will respond for large incidents and multiple calls.
