Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing

The Lawrence Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearings on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at the Lawrence Township Administration Building, 5828 Manchester Ave., N. Lawrence, Ohio. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Property owner at 6057 Milhaven Ave along with BJAAM Solar Partners LLC are requesting a variance to install 24’ x 30’ free standing solar tracking system. According to section 301.4 of the supplementary regulations 16(2) on page 26-27 of the Lawrence Township Zoning Resolution no solar panel “shall exceed 15’ in height” and “shall only be installed on 25 acres or more”. The Milhaven property is 5 acres. The property is located within the south west corner of section 15 in Lawrence Township.
