Lawrence Township News and Information

The Township’s current electric aggregation rate with Energy Harbor will expire May 2025.  We’ve been fortunate to experience a low electric aggregation rate the last 4 years.  The Township has contracted with Constellation Energy to provide electric aggregation for the next 2 years at 9.198 cents/kwh. Unfortunately, the rate is higher than the current rate, but was the lowest rate and option offered to the Township.  Rising costs of fuel used to produce energy, inflation of costs to staff, operate and maintain electric generation powerplants as well as changes in the energy market have contributed to higher prices.

If you want to stay with the Township’s aggregation, do nothing and you will be automatically enrolled.

If you wish to opt-out you simply return the bottom portion of the letter you received from Constellation by April 10th. (If you opt out Constellation will always try to accommodate residents, should they wish to enroll at a later date, however Constellation reserves the right to decline late enrollments depending on market conditions).
